Great Beauty Read: Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual

Hey ladies I got this book a few weeks ago from Chapters. I wanted her most recently that came out that’s on the Sephora site but it was sold out online for me. So I decided I would get this one for now. It has so many great tips and tricks for everything. From choosing the right foundation, to applying concealer and doing eye makeup. I haven’t read it all yet. But so far I’m actually liking it. It’s great for everyone: beginners to pros. I had ordered it online and only paid $23.43 but in store it’s $35.50. I will be looking to buy her newest one when it gets back in stock online.

Swag Shoppin: Aldo Shoes

Hey ladies, so about a month or so ago I picked up 2 pairs of shoes. One is a wedge lace ankle boot and the other is a pair of wedge heels. I have been eyeing them since about the end of summer, early September. But at that time I was saving up for the Venomous Villains collection from MAC. During Thanksgiving, which was back in October, they had both pairs on sale with an extra 30% off so I had to pick them up. The first ones are a taupe color with ruffle detailing on the back. They were originally $90 but I got them for $40. And The other pair is army colored with a buckle detailing on the front. As well it has dark brown accents to it. These were originally $80 and I got it for $32 or so. I love these shoes, I have been wearing them alot this past month. And they are very comfortable.

Swag Shoppin: Maybelline Eye Studio Line

Hey ladies. So a couple of weeks ago I went to Walmart and they had the Maybelline Eyestudio line on sale. Usually they are roughly between $10-$15, well that depends on which store you go to. But at the time they were around $7 and come change so I wanted to try out 2 of the eye shadow quads and a gel liner. The first quad I got was 20 Sapphire Siren; it has a shimmer silvery-white, teal, navy blue and sparkly black color. They are very pretty, I haven’t tried any of these colors yet though. The other quad I got was 90 Irresistibly Ivy. It’s a very neutral palette with one green color as well. I have worn these colors alot lately and they are very pigmented. I actually like them alot. I think that in the future I will be picking up more from this line for the quads. And the last thing is the gel eyeliner in brown. Lately I haven’t been wanting to line my eye with blacktrack fluidline when I wear neutral colors so I thought it would be nice to have a brown one. I didn’t really want to buy another one from MAC so I wanted to give this one a try. I haven’t used it yet but hopefully it works well.

Great Read: Spook Country by William Gibson

Hey a few weeks ago while I was at Chapters, I saw this book on the bargain table for $2. It was originally $32.50 then it was $6.99. So for only $2 it was a great buy. This book has 3 main characters from what I can gather: a journalist that is on an investigation assignment for a magazine that doesn’t exist yet. A young man that lives in a warehouse and does delicate jobs involving information transfers. As well there is a high-end junkie. From reading the inside flap of the book it seems so interesting. I can’t wait to read this book to find out what happens. Hopefully I will finish Them before November is over so I can start reading this one in December.

Great Read: Them by Nathan McCall

Hey so I was at Chapters a couple of weeks ago and I picked up this book: Them by Nathan McCall. It cost me only $2, but originally it was $28.99 then $5.99. It was a great buy. But I haven’t finished it yet but it’s a great read so far. It’s about a African American man who is trying to figure out his life in a downtown Atlanta neighbourhood. It’s very interesting so far. I have only made it to chapter 5 but so far it’s a great read. Once I finish I will come back with my thoughts on this cook.

Swag Shoppin: Crossbody Bag

Hey ladies. So I noticed that alot of cross body bags were hot for the fall and I had seen this one late August or early September. At the time I had seen it I wasn’t really in the mood to spend $35 for it because I knew the Thanksgiving sale for Aldo would be coming up in the next month or so. I’m so happy that I waited because it went on sale for about $16 which was great because it’s so cute. I’m so in love with this bag. I haven’t worn it out yet because I haven’t gone anywhere but work lately but I can’t wear to rock it.

Swag Shoppin: MAC Pro

Hey ladies just stopping by real quick to share with post with you. I picked these up a few weeks ago but I have been slacking on posting. I picked up three pro blushes as well as Fix+.

The first blush is Rhubarb. It’s very bright but deep reddish purple color. This blush is so pigmented. A little goes a long way.

The second blush is Salsarose. It’s a deep red coral color and this one is also very pigmented.

The third blush is Devil. It’s a very orange color. It looks amazing on darker skin tones in my opinion and it looks amazing paired with MAC’s MSF Stereo Rose.

Hey ladies so back in the summer I had seen these sandals and I fell in love. But at that time I was saving up for the MAC Venomous Villains collection so I over looked it and was like maybe it will go on sale around Thanksgiving and I would get a great deal on it. I love buying shoes on sale because I tend to never wear them more than once. These were original $55 and I only paid $25. Weight Loss: Day 3

Hey ladies I know I haven't posted in awhile. I haven't been working out as much I hope. Lately I have been doing about 20 minutes a day. Tonight I only did a 5 minute speed walk on the treadmill at the speed 3 and an incline of 15. I was able to burn 85 calories. After that I used the Leg Magic; I did 2 reps of 10. I actually felt the burn for that. And finally I did some lower ab work. I used the exercise machine to it. Hopefully in a couple of days I will take a picture of what I'm doing so I can share with you. But I'm out for the night. I'm hoping to check my weight on either Sunday or Monday. But I have to get up early to work again :)

Weight Loss: Day 2

Hey ladies, so I worked out again tonight. So happy with that. Today was a short day, I only walked for 15 minutes. I walked on speed 2.5 at an incline of 10. With that I burnt 120 calories and walked 0.5 miles. After that I did 4 reps of 10 on my arms; as well as 4 reps of 10 on my legs. Hopefully I will be back tomorrow after another work out.

Weight Loss: Day 1

Hey ladies, I know I haven't made a weight loss in awhile. But today I actually started working out, I'm so proud of myself. I walked on the treadmill for 30mins at the speed 3.5. That resulted in me burning 251 calories. As well I walked 1.48 miles. After that I felt tired but so good at the same time. After that I worked out my arms doing 6 sets of 10. Couldn't tell you the actually exercises cause I don't know what they are called. But overall I'm proud of myself. Hopefully I stick to this. Will keep you ladies updated on my progress.

Swag Shoppin: MAC A Tartan Tale Chapter 1

Hey ladies. I was so looking forward to this collection but I was disappointed when I got there. Well not really, I thought I would up getting more than I did. But alot of the stuff in the collection didn’t catch my eye for something that was a must have. So in the end I only picked up 3 items : 2 lipsticks and 1 eyeliner. The first lipstick I got was The Faerie Glen. It’s a very neutral color, it’s more on the pink side so I like it. It has a lustre finish. I figured I would get this because I don’t really own that many neutral lip colors and this one actually looked well on me. The next one I was Cut A Caper. It’s almost a pink peach maybe slight coral color. It’s really different than any of the other coral/peach colors I have. So I needed to get it lol. And the last item I got was the Lord It Up pearlglide liner. Omgosh I love these liners and I had 2 of the other ones already and I wasn’t really feeling the other 2 either. But this is such a pretty golden copper color. It’s so intense and it doesn’t budge at all once it dries. So this is all that I picked up. Not alot at all. I might get some things from the second part to this collection when it releases in store but I’m not sure yet.

Venomous Villains Again!

Hey ladies! So I did end up going back to MAC and picking up a few more things from this collection.

Cruella de Vil:
I picked up two eye shadows. The first one is De-vil. It's a beautiful orange-copper color with gold pearl. It has a veluxe pearl finish. The other one I picked up was Sweetjoy. It's pretty yellow-beige color. It's a frost shadow. I think this is going to make a lovely highlight color.

Evil Queen:
I ended up picking up an eye shadow and a lipglass. The eye shadow I got was Vainglorious. It is a red-plum color with pearl. It reminds me of MAC Beauty Mark but more red and brighter. It is a frost shadow. The lipglass I got was Hot House. It's beautiful purple-magenta color with pink and silver pearl.

Maleficent:
So I went back to pick up a beauty powder. At fisrt I didn't know which one to get between this one and the one that was in the Cruella de Vil section. I got this one because it showed up the best on my skin tone without looking ashy. Its a beauty pink-purple color. It reminds me of the lighter part of the MAC Vintage Grape Blush Ombre, which was released with the Spring Forecast Collection earlier this year.

So this is all I picked up from this collection. I won't be picking up anything else from this collection.

First Essie Nail Polish!

Hey ladies. Recently I picked up my first two Essie nail polishes. The first one is Velvet Voyeur. It's a deep plum-brown color. It is a cream finish as well. It's a wonderful color for fall. The next color is Merino Cool. It reminds me of Metro Chic by Sephora OPI. Its a beautiful color for fall and it also has a cream finish.

Viva Glam: Cyndi Lipglass

Hey divas! So I went to MAC recently and I picked up the Viva Glam Cyndi Lipglass. I already own the matching lipstick and I love it. I thought this would be a great item to have. It's a beautiful red-coral color, more on the red side though. It has a creme finish and it goes on very smoothly. If you haven't checked it out, I think you should.

Hey divas. Just stopping by real quick to share what I picked up so from this part of the collection. I only picked up two items. The first thing I picked up was the Violetta lipstick. It is a bold bright purple color. It has an amplified finish. It looks amazing with my skin tone. It is a pro item so you can still pick it up at a pro location if you don't get a chance to pick it up now. The other item I picked up was the Revenge Is Sweet lipglass. It's a sheer purple color with pearl. It goes amazingly well with Violetta. I really love this lip combination.

It is a very bright red coral. It has a satin finish. The last time I picked up was the Strange Potion lipglass. It is a pink coral color with a gold pearl. It's a lovely color as well. Hey divas. So lately I have noticed that my teeth seem to be more yellow than usual. Maybe its because of all the coffee I have been drinking at work. Bio-Oil

Hey divas. So back in April I had surgery and it left a huge 8 inch scar. As well I have stretch marks from when I was pregnant. I wanted to give Bio-Oil a try to see if it would help reduce the appearances of how they look. I haven't started using it yet.
