Dye Job: 3 Month Touch-up

Hey ladies back in June when I did my big chop I also decided to dye my hair. I chose to use Garnier's Ultra long Lasting Shiny Colour in 366 Deep Burgundy Brown. I would have re-dyed my hair sooner but everytime I went to pick up the color they were sold out. I plan on re-dying my hair roughly every 3 months. Oh by the way I haven't dyed my hair yet. I will once I get my digital camera back from my dad so I can take before and after pictures. I will hopefully get to do it on my next day off from work.

Natural Hair Update: 3 Months

Hey divas. So it has been 3 months since I did my big chop. And I'm loving it. I have no regrets. I'm not really into checking the length or anything like that. I just want it to be healthy. I haven't really been doing much lately with my hair. I just wash it once or twice a week. And I been moisturizing my hair with Silk Elements Herbal Hair & Scalp Moisturizing Treatment. I haven't trimmed it since June as well. That's my quick hair update.

New Shampoo & Conditioner: TRESemme Naturals

Hey ladies just wanted to share with you the new shampoo and conditioner. When I was in Superstore I saw TRESemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Shampoo and Condition. They were roughly $6 and there was also an in-store coupon for $1 off. So I used one on each item and got them for roughly $5 each.

The shampoo has organic aloe vera and avocado extracts that will moisturize and protect your hair from damage and breakage. It shouldn't leave your hair feeling dry but it should leave it feeling incredibily soft. Also it has lower sulfates.

The conditioner also has organic aloe vera and avocado extracts. It is silicone free for lightweight conditioning.

Facial Routine: Fall/Winter

Hey divas. Just wanted to stop by real quick to share with you what I will being doing to take care of my skin during the fall and winter months. I wash my face twice a day and moisturize after that. I also exfoliate my face twice weekly with St Ives Apricot Scrub Exfoliating.
Morning Routine:
- Wash my face with Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleanser
- Moisturize with Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15
Bedtime Routine:
- Wash my face with Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleanser
- Moisturize with Glaxal Base Moisturizing Cream

Weight Loss Update

Hey ladies. I have really stopped trying to lose weight these past few months. I haven't been active at all. Expect when I'm shopping or taking my princess and niece to the park. I have gained back most of the weight that I lost after having surgery back in April. So I have decided that I'm going try and get fit. With that being said I have come with a simple game plan that I'm going to try to stick to till at least January.

1. Eating healthier. Eating less junk food and not eating after 9pm.
2. Drink more water. Right now I'm drinking between 1 - 3 glasses. Going to try to drink 3 - 6 glasses.
3. Walking/running on the treadmill 3 times a week for 30 minutes. Will most likely be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
4. Working out on the Leg Magic 2 or 3 times out of the weeks. Most likely Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
5. Lifting weights 5 days of the week. Rotating between arms and legs. Doing 2 reps of 15.

I will be trying to post weekly to update everyone on how my progress is going.

Swag Shoppin: Shoppers Drug Mart

Hey ladies. Just stopping by real quick to share two items I picked up at shoppers drug mart a few weeks ago. The first item I picked up was Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express mascara in Blackest Black. It was on sale for $5. Then I picked up another Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss. This time I got the color Pink Pursuit. It's a soft pink with a silver pearl. This was on sale $4.

Swag Shoppin: Walmart

Hey ladies. How's everyone doing? I hope everyone is well. I just wanted to share with you some greats deals I picked up at Walmart a couple of weeks ago. I picked up two mascaras and two lip glosses. The first one I picked up was Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal in Classsic Black. It came in a 2 for 1 pack. The next mascara I got was Maybelline Great Lash in 100 Blackest Black. It also came in a 2 for 1 pack. Both were roughly $6. The lipglosses I picked up were both from Revlon's Super Lustrous line. The first one is Glossy Rose. It is a pinky nude color with gold shimmer. Next one is Nude Lustre. It is a nice brownish nude color with a little bit of shimmer. These both were $4.

Swag Shopping: Ed Hardy Makeup Palettes

Hey ladies. Hope everyone is doing well. So a couple of weeks ago I was at my local Shopper's Drugmart and I was in my makeup aisle and I seen these two makeup palettes. I never knew Ed Hardy did makeup. I couldn't decided which one I wanted so I picked up both. They were on sale for about $18. They come with six eye shadows, six lipglosses and a blush. It also came with a double ended eye shadow and lip brush. As well as a blush brush. It also came with two solid perfumes. I think this was a great buy.

Swag Shoppin: MAC Fabulous Felines Collection

Hey ladies just coming threw real quick to share with you the 4 items I picked up from MACs most recent collection. This collection was separated into 3 different themes. When I had first heard about this collection I was planning on getting so much. But once I got into the store and did swatches of everything only 4 things really caught my eye. I picked up 2 pigments, 1 lipstick and 1 lipglass. The first pigment I got was Lithe. It’s a warm nude color with gold pearl. The next pigment I got was Gold Stroke. It looks like a nice chocolate brown in the container but once watched it has a slight purple tint to it. It’s so pretty. The lipstick I picked up was Drive Me Wild. It’s described as a warm coral with gold pearl. It is a cremesheen finish. And the last thing I picked up from this collection was the Wildly Refined Lipglass. It is described as a midtone coral with gold pearl but in my eyes it looks more like a rusty brown color. It’s so beautiful. You could wear it on top of Drive Me Wild or by itself. Hey ladies so I was sitting at home bored today and I decided to play around with some makeup that I haven't used in a very long time. Last year when MAC's Style Black collection came out I picked up the Night Violet Mattene lipstick. Since then I have only worn it once. So today I decied I would try and make it work cause I'm not use to bold or dark lips. And this is what I came up with. Hope you like.

Swag Shoppin: MAC Goodies

Hey ladies I wanted to come share with you quickly the 3 items I picked up from MAC a few weeks ago. I would have posted sooner but my dad was borrowing my camera =). When I was out one day shopping for my princess I had stopped at my MAC counter looking to see if they had any slimshine lipsticks. I know they have been discontinued but at a few of the counters in my city still have a couple of shades. I really do like the formulation of the product. I was lucky enough to find one that had some left in stock. Out of the ones they had I picked out Assertive. It’s a rusty brown color with gold pearl. It’s a beautiful color. I think it will work well for fall. The next item is another lipstick, Call My Bluff, it was released in the In The Groove collection. It is a very neutral brown color. I bought it to replace my MAC Empowered lipstick, which left me looking dead. Call My Bluff coloring works better for my skin tone. And the last thing I picked up was a sharpener. I have never owned one and alot of my eye pencils need to sharpened so I decided to get it. That’s all that I had picked up at MAC.

16 Months Old

My little princess is 16 months now. I truly can’t believe it, time is surely flying by fast. She’s at that stage where she’s always trying to get her own way. But I love her to death. Lately I have realized she’s very girly. She’s always getting into my makeup bag and putting things on. LOL if you have noticed in the pictures of lipsticks. She’s a lipstick junkie.
