Hey ladies, just wanted to share with you the new things I picked up for my hair. Seeing that I recently chopped off my hair, I decided to try out some new products. I’m not sure if I want to go natural but at the same time I wanted to treat my hair better.

Swag Shoppin | Drug Store Goodies

Hey ladies, a couple of weeks ago I stopped into Shoppers Drug Mart because I had a $10 off a $50 purchase coupon. I grabbed a bunch of items and I only ended up keep these 3 because when I got home I realized I already had them in my collection. But the items I ended up keeping were:

- L’Oreal Total Repair Hair Mask
- L’Oreal Color Radiance Protecting Hair Mask
- Crest 3D White Advanced Vivid Stain Protection

Swag Shoppin | Zellers

Hey ladies, just stopping by to share with you a small haul from Zellers. So Zellers is a Canadian store that is currently closing all across the country seeing they got bought out by Target last year. I’m actually really excited for Target to get to my city, probably won’t be for awhile though; oh well. Anyways, the location at my mall is currently liquidating everything and I picked up a few things. I picked up the Soft Sheen-Carson Care Free Curl Spray for when I want to attempt to wear my hair curly. I also picked up two Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lip Pencils in Seduce and Beloved. Lastly, I picked up the Revlon Pink Power Walk Polish for Breast Cancer. Honestly, any time I see anything Breast Cancer related I have to pick it up. I’m super excited to try these items out but I probably won’t until after I move.

Swag Shoppin | Hair Care

Hey ladies, just stopping by to share with you the new things I picked up for my hair. Seeing that I recently dyed it, I was looking for something that would help keep the color longer. So I saw the L’Oreal Color Radiance Line and I picked up a bunch of things to try. I picked up the shampoo, conditioner and the protecting detangling care spray. I honestly, can’t wait to give these a try and see how well they work for my hair.

Moroccan Oil: Shampoo & Conditioner

Hey ladies, I’ve been hauling a lot lately. I recently picked up the Moroccan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner, originally I was going to pick up the hair oil treatment but they were out of stock. So I decided to give this a try, my hairdresser said these would work really well with my hair. So hopefully they do, I haven’t tried them yet. But once I use them for about a month, I will make another post on how I’m liking them.

Disclaimer: Items were purchased by me.

Deep Conditioning

Hey everyone! How’s your night going? Mine is going pretty good, I just finished deep conditioning my hair. This time around I used Ion Extreme Moisture Nurturing Crème. I’m planning on letting this soak into my hair over night and then rinse it out in the morning. I applied a good amount of product to my hair and combed it through with a big tooth comb to get it on evenly. I really like how this product smells. It reminds me of candy, I can’t think of which one, but it smells really nice and sweet. I also like it cause it’s thick and creamy. I can’t give you an in-depth review yet but so far I’m liking it. If you have tried this product let me know what you think and how it worked for you.

First Deep Conditioning Treatment!

Hey guys! How are you doing this beautiful night? Today I did my first deep conditioning treatment. I started off by washing my hair with the Silk Elements Luxury Moisturizing Shampoo. I washed my hair twice with that and then followed it with the Silk Elements Luxury Moisturizing Conditioner. For that I only did it one time and rinsed it out completely. After towel drying my hair slightly I added a liberal amount of Mega Cholesterol Conditioning Treatment; this is also by Silk Elements. With a big tooth comb, I combed it evenly through out my hair, making sure that all the ends where covered with the products. Then I put on a treatment cap and let it sit in my hair for about 2 hours. During that time I watched tv and did laundry. When it came to rinse it out, you could barely tell that I had put in any product in my hair due to the fact that my hair was so dry. So I took my time to make sure I rinsed out all the product. After that I towel dried my hair and put it into twists/Bantu knots. While separating my hair I used the Silk Elements Herbal Hair & Scalp Moisturizing Treatment. I made sure to put it on the whole section I was twisting and the ends. I plan on doing this deep conditioning treatment every Monday for about the next 6 weeks to see how it affects my hair.

Till next time!
